What’s the best way to deal with negative thoughts?

The long story is there’s way too much going on in your life for me to simplify this in a very quick and easy to read post however I’m gonna give it a shot.
I know you’re busy. I know there’s stress and I know you’re dealing sometimes with unbelievable circumstances, you didn’t see coming.
Let’s take the simple route first:
Interrupt the thoughts with positive thoughts you currently have in your playlist. Of course, I mean your literal playlist of music, movies, podcasts and things of that nature. Additionally, you should also have a playlist of positive thoughts written down, printed out, not only from other people throughout history, but from your own mind, heart and thoughts. When you start to think negatively choose one or several from this list and interrupt those negative thoughts with passion and purpose. Do not let them control you!
You tell them what to do. Change your thoughts. It will change your life.
Secondly: Talk to someone who will challenge those negative thoughts and remind you of how great you are but also what you need to change. Getting face-to-face with real people is critical. Just a quick dash to the convenience store, can do you good but will often lead to impulse buying and other bad habits that add to your issues.
Find a real counselor if needed but sometimes it just helps to go see a close relative who picks you up.

FREE GOOD FEELS! Dopamine is the feel good chemical you may be lacking! Seriously, use that to fill your empty positivity tank. Go hug somebody… get face-to-face. (I used to attend a church where everyone hugged each other all the time and it was amazing!) I
It a new world so ask people if they’re a hugger before you assalt them with your need of affection ok? Haha
If hugging is impossible, that’s no problem. We have plenty of methods to do face-to-face talking via our technology and while it’s not the same… I have to give out a lot of virtual hugs to people everyday. Give it a shot.
Third:
Whatever you do –
Don’t sit with negativity alone for long stretches. Negativity is the biggest bully I know it is always unfair. It always lies, and you deserve better than that in your life! (Oh! and by the way, the people in your life deserve better too!)
